Recently, Alfa Romeo made an announcement that had the high-performance community tingling: an all-new Stelvio Quadrifoglio performance SUV.
The Stelvio Quadrifoglio performance SUV will utilize a 510-horsepower 2.9-liter V6 bi-turbo engine, producing approximately 442 pounds of torque and reaching 62 MPH in just 3.8 seconds. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio will have a top speed of 176 MPH. It will feature a powerful All-Wheel Drive system with torque vectoring for singular control of torque delivery to each wheel, as well as carbon-ceramic brakes.
The exterior design of the Stelvio Quadrifoglio will include additional bonnet and flank vents, side skirts, expanded wheel-arches, and four exhaust finishers. Inside, this Stelvio promises to live up to the luxurious tradition of its predecessors, boasting the widespread use of premium materials such as leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber. Stelvio drivers will have access via an 8.8-inch touchscreen to the Alfa Connect infotainment system with 3D navigation.
Premium Compact SUV
The new Stelvio Quadrifoglio will combat the BMW X3 M, F-Type SVR, and the Porsche Macan for the top spot in its segment. Alfa Romeo states that the Quadrifoglio will be the new “benchmark model” for premium compact SUVs.
