Fifty years after its original introduction in the United States, the FIAT 124 Spider is making a comeback. FIAT has announced pricing for the 2017 124 Spider will start at just $24,995. With this price, it will make the 124 Spider the most affordable turbo-powered convertible in the country.
Even with its affordable price tag, the 124 Spider comes fully equipped with classic Italian styling, a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, available advanced safety features, desirable technology, available premium sound system, and more.
With the FIAT 124 Spider, drivers will get the performance they want. The turbocharged engine will deliver 160 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. It can be had with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. With the manual transmissions, the 124 Spider gets an EPA-estimated 26 mpg city and 35 mpg highway.
For buyers looking to capture the return of this legend, the first 124 vehicles produced will be offered as a limited-edition Prima Edizione Lusso. Each car will come individually numbered and will have an exclusive Azzurro Italia (blue) paint with premium Saddle leather upholstery. The limited edition car will also come with a matching blue leather bag, journal with a pen, and a poster showing off the original design.
The all-new 2017 FIAT 124 Spider will be coming to Corwin Alfa Romeo and FIAT of Springfield this summer.
