Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has once again shown its superior quality. The Italian-American carmaker recently earned the top spot in Strategic Vision’s Total Quality Index (TQI), showing that it not only offers a diverse lineup of vehicles—they’re also top-notch.
“This is the first time FCA has ranked highest in the 20-year history of the Total Quality Index and we are honored to receive his award,” said Matt Liddane, Vice President of Quality for FCA North America. “Our unwavering commitment to the highest level of quality as a company is being recognized on a national level, while our world-class vehicle lineup continues to attract new customers, as well as those who have been purchasing our products for years.”
The six 2015 FCA US vehicles that won their respective segments are as follows:
- Dodge Challenger- Specialty Coupe (tied for first)
- Dodge Charger- Full-Size Car
- Dodge Durango- Mid-size SUV
- Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Entry SUV
- FIAT 500- Small Multi-Function Car
- FIAT 500e- Small Alternative Powertrain Car
The TQI is calculated based on responses from more than 46,000 owners of new 2015 model year vehicles. New owners are asked to analyze their ownership experience for 155 specific characteristics, allowing Strategic Vision to calculate a measurement of the total ownership experience.
